*5. Key Design Points*
1. *Purlin spacing*: Max 1000mm for 2.5mm sheet. GI allows 1350mm, so UPVC needs 15–20% more steel.
2. *Slope*: Min 1:6. Water should drain fast or dust collects.
3. *Fixing*: Special screw + EPDM washer + cap. Oval holes needed for expansion or sheet cracks.
4. *Color*: White reflects max heat. Blue/Grey available.
5. *Fire NOC*: Use fire-retardant B1 grade UPVC with test certificate for MIDC approval.
